LAV Highball Tumblers, Set of 6, 510 ml
The revenue leader and the plain workhorse of the list: six 510 ml highballs for £11.99, which is £2 a glass.
- Set of six highball tumblers
- 510 ml capacity per glass
- Listed for water, juice and long drinks
We analysed the Amazon.co.uk subcategory Glassware and kept only products with at least 200 reviews and 4.3 stars. Ranked by estimated monthly revenue, the result is a mixed drawer rather than a wine cabinet: four entries are coffee or latte mugs, one is polycarbonate for hot tub use, one is stoneware, and exactly one wine glass makes the list.

The revenue leader and the plain workhorse of the list: six 510 ml highballs for £11.99, which is £2 a glass.

A catering pack of twelve toughened hiballs at £1.87 a glass — the lowest cost per piece in this comparison, and the only entry built for a bar rather than a table.

The most expensive entry at £28.04, and a coffee product rather than a drinking glass: four insulated double-wall mugs at roughly £7 each.

Not glass at all: reusable polycarbonate flutes sold for hot tub use, where a broken stem is precisely the thing you are paying to avoid.

Six 430 ml tumblers from the Polish glassmaker Krosno at £4.67 each, which is the step up from the £2-a-glass LAV set at rank one.

Two heavy twisted tumblers for £17.95, or £8.98 a glass — more per piece than anything else in this ranking, and it is sold as a gift set.

The most reviewed entry in this comparison with 7,984 ratings: two double-wall latte glasses at £5.50 each, around a fifth cheaper per mug than the four-pack at rank three.

The highest-rated entry at 4.7 stars and by far the strongest bestseller rank of the ten — and it is stoneware, a ceramic mug filed under glassware.

Four large borosilicate mugs with generous handles at £4.25 each — the third coffee product in a glassware ranking, and one of the two entries rated 4.3.

The only wine glass in the entire top ten, and it is a single engraved one sold as a present rather than a set for the table.

Eight of these ten are multi-packs and the counts run from two to twelve, so the headline price tells you nothing. In this ranking the same drinking glass costs £1.87 inside a catering twelve-pack and £8.98 inside a two-piece gift set.
One entry here is toughened trade stock, made to survive a busy bar and a commercial dishwasher. Toughened glass is heavier and a little duller than domestic glass, and it is what you want where there is a tiled floor, a garden table or a house full of children.
Four entries are double-wall coffee glasses. The air gap between the two skins keeps a latte hot and the outside of the glass cool enough to hold, which is the whole point of the design — but it also means the drink volume is smaller than the outer size suggests.
Two of these are not glass. Polycarbonate flutes exist because glass beside a hot tub or a pool is a genuinely bad idea, and a stoneware mug is in this list because of where Amazon files it, not what it is made of. Check the material before you compare the prices.
The shape follows the drink. A stem keeps a warm hand off chilled wine, a handle keeps it off a hot coffee, a heavy base is for spirits over ice. Only one stemmed wine glass reaches this top ten, and it is a personalised gift rather than a dinner service.
These listings quote cc, millilitres and ounces in the same subcategory, from 250 ml up to 19 oz. A 425 ml hiball is a soft drink glass, 250 ml is a single latte, 510 ml is a long drink with ice. Convert before you assume the bigger number is the better buy.
Because Amazon files drinking vessels of all kinds under this subcategory, and double-wall coffee glasses sell heavily. Four of the ten here are coffee or latte products and one of those is stoneware. We show the subcategory as Amazon publishes it rather than quietly filtering it down to wine glasses.
On price per piece the order is: Olympia at £1.87, LAV at £2.00, ComSaf at £4.25, Krosno at £4.67, Glastal at £5.50, CNGLASS at £7.01 and FLOW at £8.98. Cheapest per glass is not the same as right for the job — the £1.87 glass is toughened catering stock and the £8.98 one is a gift.
Because 64 colour variants share a single listing and a single review pool. The rating describes the mug range as a whole, not the shell pink one you would receive. The same effect appears on several other entries here with between three and fifteen variants.
The products are ordered by estimated monthly revenue per ASIN, not by star rating and not by bestseller rank. Only products with at least 200 reviews and an average of 4.3 stars were included. Because revenue is price times units, multi-packs and sets rise here while single glasses sold in ones rarely do.
The score is not our own hands-on test. It is calculated transparently from public Amazon data: 75% from the average star rating and 25% from the number of reviews, weighted logarithmically. The ranking order itself comes from estimated monthly revenue per ASIN. Prices, ratings and review counts were retrieved from Amazon.co.uk on 22 July 2026 and can change at any time.
