Every listing on this page is a bulk pack, and the counts run from 25 to 1,000. Divide before you compare: the unit price spans under 3p a cup to 60p a plate, a factor of twenty that the headline price hides completely.
An 18 cm plate is a side plate for cake or a sausage roll; 23 cm holds a barbecue main; the 25 cm palm leaf plates take a full buffet load. Ordering the small size for a hot meal is the standard mistake in this category.
A 7 oz single-wall paper cup is fine for squash and awkward to hold with tea in it. The three-ply ripple cups cost about the same per unit and exist so that a hot drink can be carried. Match the wall to the drink before you look at the price.
One listing states in the title that no lids are included, and none of the others include them either. If the cups are travelling anywhere, budget for lids as a second order and check that the diameter matches.
