Ranked by estimated monthly revenue, all ten are cotton tea towel packs of three to twelve — and once you divide the price by the contents, the range runs from £1.26 to £4.65 a towel, with one brand holding five of the ten places.
The revenue leader works out at £2.50 a towel — terry cotton at 38 by 64 cm, which is the compact bar-towel format rather than a full drying-up cloth.

Nothing in this subcategory is sold singly, so the shelf price tells you almost nothing. Across these ten the real figure runs from £1.26 to £4.65 per towel — a 3.7-fold spread for cotton cloths that all do the same job.
Two brands here sell the same towel in two pack sizes, and neither rewards you properly for buying more. RMTech charges £1.75 a towel for four and £2.00 for five; LivinEase drops from £1.80 to £1.70 when you double the pack, a total saving of 99p. Check the maths before assuming the bulk pack wins.
Roughly 70 x 50 cm is the classic British tea towel — enough cloth to dry a roasting tin. The 38 x 64 cm terry towels that dominate this ranking are the shorter, thicker bar format, better for hands and worktops than for big plates. Look at the centimetres, not the word towel.
Terry has raised loops and holds more water but stays damp longer and can shed lint on glass. Flat woven cotton dries faster on the rail and polishes better. Both are represented here, and only one listing in the whole top ten quotes a weight — 425 GSM — so the fabric description is usually all you get.
One pack states it takes 95°C and carries an Oeko-Tex certificate. That matters if towels go through the same hot wash as bedding, or if you want a documented check on the dyes. Everything else here simply says machine washable, which normally means 40 to 60°C.
Half of this ranking is Infinitee Xclusives, and each colour and pack size is a separate ASIN sharing one review pool of about 10,192. The identical twelve-pack sells for £25.99 in grey and £34.99 in black or green. Choose the size first, then compare the shades against each other.
Not necessarily the biggest one. In this snapshot the best per-towel value is a ten-pack at £1.26 each, but the second-best is a four-pack at £1.75 — while one brand's five-pack costs more per towel than its own four-pack. Work out the unit price for each option rather than assuming the larger box is the bargain.
Because Amazon prices colours separately. The grey, black and green Infinitee twelve-packs are the same 38 x 64 cm terry towel with the same review pool; only the shade and the £9 differ. The same pattern shows up in almost every kitchen linen range, so it is always worth clicking through the variants.
It largely is not — the two subcategories overlap, and the split reflects how sellers file their listings rather than what is in the packet. Linen Sets is where multipacks sold as sets end up, so it skews towards cotton tea towels in fours to twelves. Wiping cloths, microfibre and antibacterial dishcloths sit mostly in the other one.
