Headline capacities assume a standard 75 cl Bordeaux bottle. A wide Burgundy or a champagne bottle eats the space of one and a half, so a 27-bottle rack holds nearer twenty if you buy fizz. Count the slots per tier and measure the widest bottle you actually own.
