They are not alternatives to one another, and the propane head cannot be filled from a butane can.
Sondiko, TBTeek and JDHON all state that butane is not included; Green Haven and Bargains-Galore ship with four canisters each. A can of butane costs a few pounds, so add that to the headline price before deciding that the £11.88 torch undercuts the £12.99 one.
The S907 and the TBTeek carry a window that shows the butane level. Without it you find out that the tank is empty at the moment you are glazing the last ramekin. It is the single feature that separates the £11.88 Sondiko from the £17.99 one.
Bargains-Galore names auto ignition; the Sondiko and Green Haven entries name a safety lock. In a kitchen that shares a drawer with children in the house, the lock matters more than the flame size, and it is the one specification worth confirming on the listing itself.
